Matija Kopić is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Gideon, where he serves as a Board Member. He played a key role in shaping Gideon’s vision and technology roadmap, helping the company grow from startup to a recognized leader in autonomous mobile robotics and Physical-AI systems.

Before founding Gideon, Matija was Founder and CEO of Farmeron, the world’s first SaaS platform for dairy and cattle farm management, later acquired by Virtus Nutrition. He now leads a new venture focused on regenerative farming and sustainable food innovation.

Chief Commercial Officer, Iva Vukina leads global commercial strategy and execution, driving enterprise adoption of the company’s Physical-AI robotics platform. With over two decades of experience in enterprise sales, capital markets, and risk management, she has a proven record of scaling complex solutions for Fortune 500 clients.

Before joining Gideon, Iva was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where she advised leading companies on funding, risk, and strategic growth. She holds degrees in Mathematical Decision Sciences and Operations Research & Industrial Engineering, and serves on multiple advisory boards.

Kruno Stražanac, co-Founder and CCO, leads customer success, ensuring smooth deployment, support, and adoption of the company’s Physical-AI robotics platform. With a strong background in mathematics and operations, he drives measurable impact for customers across logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing.

Before founding Gideon, Kruno led technical support and data analytics at Farmeron, building scalable, data-driven customer processes. He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Osijek.

Co-Founder and CRO, Edin Kočo leads hardware development, product design, safety, and manufacturing. With deep expertise in robotics hardware and software, he guides multidisciplinary teams from concept to large-scale production.

Before founding Gideon, Edin was a Research Associate at the University of Zagreb, where he developed advanced robotic systems and earned his Ph.D. in Robotics, graduating summa cum laude. He is the author of several patents and research papers in robotics.

VP of Software, Tomislav Haus leads the development and integration of the company’s Physical-AI robotics platform. Since joining in 2018, he has driven the architecture and scalability of Gideon’s core autonomy stack, enabling reliable, high-performance operation of its autonomous mobile robots.

Tomislav holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering focused on robotics and UAVs. He has authored more than 20 scientific papers and holds five patents in autonomous systems. Before joining Gideon, he conducted robotics research at the University of Zagreb and as a Visiting Researcher at West Point.

Product Manager for Gideon’s flagship autonomous forklift, Trey, Daniel Guja leads product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle management. One of Gideon’s earliest team members, he helped shape the company’s Physical-AI platform through his early work in R&D and machine learning.

Before moving into product management, Daniel led the semantics team developing advanced computer vision and deep learning systems for robotic perception and autonomy. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science and began his career at Microsoft. His early innovation work earned multiple international awards for excellence in technology and engineering.

VP of Business Operations, Klaudija Sarkanj oversees HR, legal and compliance, corporate governance, and cross-functional business alignment. She also serves as Corporate Secretary, ensuring effective coordination between the Board, investors, and executive management.

Since joining Gideon in 2021, Klaudija has helped shape the company’s organizational structure, people strategy, and governance systems. Her previous experience at Infobip and Algebra University College, where she led large-scale transformation programs and global teams, underpins Gideon’s continued growth and international expansion.
